Campaign update (08/18/2026, 6:15 PM): We have thankfully secured an extension, and a lower down payment rate. The goal has been updated in accordance.
We still need to raise what is left in the new goal to cover necessary construction costs, and moving costs, so we do not go into debt.

Two years ago, we moved to Bowie with a dream: to build a warm, welcoming Jewish community.
Since then, we've been hosting Jewish events, classes, and programs, all based out of our living room, or other rented spaces.
We welcome every Jew, regardless of background or affiliation, and help people connect with their Jewish heritage. We're also proud to be involved in the broader Bowie community, promoting education and kindness.

Thank G-d, the Chabad of Bowie family has been growing, and we've outgrown our rented space. After months of searching, we're now in contract for a home in the heart of our community. The property includes a large dedicated space to serve as our Chabad House. A welcoming space for Shabbat services, holiday events, children and adult classes, and more.
We NEED YOUR HELP: we need to raise money for the down payment within the NEXT FEW DAYS in order to close the deal.
Chabad of Bowie has no central funding. We rely on supporters like you!
We are ready to put down permanent roots and create a lasting home for Jewish life in Bowie. Every donation helps make this dream a reality. Thank you so much for being part of it!
